Ir. Lee Cheng Siong is a Professional Engineer, registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds an Honours Degree in The Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from The University of Technology Malaysia in 1981.
He has vast experience in Project Management for Telecommunication related projects. During his tenure of 4 years service with Jabatan Telekom Malaysia as an Assistant Controller, and was exposed to contract management for the installation of outside plant network by JKH contractors including the planning and design section.
He left Jabatan Telekom Malaysia to join the private sector and was the Regional Manager for Binafon Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. from 1984 to 1991. Binafon was awarded a RM 636 million Outside Plant Turnkey Contract by Telekom Malaysia Bhd to expand her outside plant network to cater for the needs of the ever demanding and affluent Malaysian population.
In 1991, he formed a company, Komasi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd to undertake the registration of JKH license with Telekom Malaysia under the name of Komasi Enterprise Sdn Bhd together with other shareholders. Komasi has done RM 5.0 million of civil and cable works mainly in Johor Bahru within the first year.
Due to disagreement on the direction of the company, Lee left and joined Electroscon Sdn Bhd, a major telecommunication company as a Project Manager in 1992. During his 5 years services with the company, he has involved himself in multiple projects and was in charge of the Project Control Division. He has overseen more than seven major telecommunications projects of different operators, both in Malaysia and overseas. He was responsible for the setting up of new projects in Sri Lanka and Indonesia. He left Electroscon in September 1997 to enter into his own business of the same nature where he is most experienced.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Liew Kim Lin holds a Diploma in Building. He has good experience in civil construction especially in the housing industry. His experience starts from designing to site construction and handing over. He has good liaison with the authorities during the implementation of the projects.
Mr. Liew also designed the Waste Disposal Systems for several poultry farms in the State of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan and was responsible for the approval of designs and final inspection and acceptance at site by the Veterinary Department.
From 1994 onwards, Mr Liew began to indulge in telecommunication project works. He has vast experience in the installation of underground ducts and manholes for Telecommunications Outside Plant Networks and the related project documentation.
In 1999, Mr. Liew joined B-Band Communications Sdn. Bhd. as a Project Manager, taking charge of Maxis Account. He was responsible for the close liaison between Maxis Project Manager, building owners and local authorities for the timely implementation and completion of the projects designed by Maxis’ own network planner.
He has also successfully acquired many buildings in The Klang Valley for the design and installation of in building RF distribution projects for TM Touch and Celcom. As his contribution to the company was significant, he became a shareholder of B-Band Communications Sdn. Bhd. in early 2003.
Tan Sen Yong holds a Bachelor in Commerce (Hons) Accounting from Tunku Abdul Rahman University in the year 2007, majoring in cost Accounting and Corporate Ethics.
Tan started his career in Audex Governance as an Internal Audit Associate in July 2007. His job scope focused on operation audit such as the auditing of sales management, inventory management, information management system, procurement, and etc. During his service, he has audited a number of companies including SMIS Bhd, KYM Bhd, AirAsia Bhd, Hospital Pantai Bhd, Jaycorp Bhd, GDex Bhd, Ajinomoto Bhd, Malaysia Packaging Bhd, CellSafe International Sdn Bhd, Mitrajaya Bhd, and many more. He left Audex Governance in year 2010 as a Senior Audit Associate.
Tan joined B-Band Communications Sdn Bhd in year 2010 as a Project Executive. In his tenure, he was involved in projects with major players within the telecommunications industry, amongst which includes Maxis, DiGi, TIME dotcom, Huawei Malaysia, ABN and so on. His main responsibility was to review the documented requirements of the project, create and execute project work plans, as well as identify resources needed for the project. He also managed day-to-day operational aspects of a project to ensure its timely completion, prepare proper documentations throughout the project, and meet with customers with the prepared reports to provide progress updates, answer queries and make requested changes of project plans if necessary.
Having shown his capability in learning the technology and handling telecommunication projects, in year 2013, he was promoted to Project Manager in charge of Huawei account. With his experience in both accounting and project management, Tan has the capability to provide a good project cost planning.
Lee Chung Wei graduated with MBBS degree from The International Medical University in the year 2012 after having gone through five years of theoretical and practical training in the university and various government hospitals and clinics within Peninsular Malaysia.
After completing his 2-year houseman training in University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), he realized the importance of continuing the legacy of family business which has been built over the last 17 years. He quitted his medical line which he loved most, and venture into the telecommunication infrastructure business which is unknown to him. A young man with his courage and the huge sacrifice that he has shown is something to be commended.
Immediately after leaving the medical line, he joined B-Band Communications Sdn Bhd as a Project Control and Coordination Manager. He was entrusted with the following tasks;
